Who looks after your information

This policy covers avoracp.com, the website of Avora Clinical Partners, a brand of Consumer Response Media. Avora decides how the information below is used. Send any question about it to info@avoracp.com or call (800) 741-9835.

Visiting the site

You can read every page without telling us anything. There are no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies here. Like most websites, our server notes the time of each request and the address it came from, and we use those logs only to keep the site secure.

What our forms ask for

The trial updates form asks for your name, your email address, the area of research you follow and, if you want texts, a mobile number. The contact form asks for your name, your email and your message, with a mobile number only if you want a reply by text. As evidence of consent we also note the date and time, the page, your IP address and your browser.

Avora never asks for medical records, a diagnosis or insurance information.

Why we use it

We use your details to send what you signed up for, to answer your messages and to keep proof of the consent you gave. We do not use them for anything beyond that.

Who sees it

Avora gives your details to no study team, research site or sponsor. Anyone interested in a study gets in touch with its team directly. Our texts come straight from Avora and do not sign you up for any study. The companies that host this site and carry our messages handle information on our behalf and under our instructions only.

Your personal information will not be sold or leased to any third party.

Your mobile number and text consent

Your mobile information will not be shared with any third party for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Reply STOP to any text to end them. The full text program rules are on the SMS terms page.

How long we keep it

We keep your sign-up until you ask us to end it, and then delete your details within thirty days. The record of your consent and of your opt-out is kept as long as we might need to produce it.

Your rights

Write or call to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected or to have it deleted. We reply within thirty days, and we respect any additional rights the law of your state gives you.

Security

Our forms travel over an encrypted connection, and what they collect is stored where few people can reach it. Since no system can be made entirely secure, we keep what we ask for to a minimum.

Children

Avora is for adults. Details that turn out to belong to someone under 18 are deleted.

Changes to this policy

Any update to this policy carries a new date at the top of the page. Where an update touches information you have already shared, you will hear from us before it applies.
